Eva Maria Ruiz

I’m a native of Malaga, Spain. Ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved music and to sing. Influenced by the likes of Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Whitney Houston, I have been singing professionally since the age of nineteen. After studying in Malaga I moved on to radio and live performances in Spain. Since then I’ve enjoyed the freedom music has given me to compose and to perform abroad including in the UK, Germany and Monaco…you might say I’m on my journey and I hope you’ll join me along the way. Hasta luego.

“Keko” del Moral

Playing in various orchestras since the age of fourteen, I was classically trained at the Malaga Conservatory of Music, working with Stephanie cambier and Raphael Ruiz. I’ve featured in a long running Spanish TV series broadcast nationally and internationally. Studies with leading music professors at Beklee College of Music in Boston prompted my move to jazz. Performing in such places as Paris, Brussels, Casa Blanca and Madrid, I’v accompanied quite a few singers….and my favourite singer….it’s Eva !

Antonio Sierra

I joined my first band at the age of twelve moving to my first public gig doing covers of the Beatles and the Police. More pop experience followed leading to appearing on my first album. At the same time, I was studying classical music at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica in Malaga fromwhere I went on to study with professor Carlos carli in Madrid. I’ve worked with the likes of Javier Ojeda (Danza Invisible), Chico Castillo (Gypsy Kings), Mama Kin, Harry Octopus and now, with Eva and Keko.

Marcelo Saenz

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1960. I’ve been playing the guitar since the age of ten and my early music was playing rock and blues numbers. Later, I played with various jazz groups experimenting with different styles. After moving to Spain in 1989 I played across Spain with a number of talented musicians and taught, as professor of electric guitar, at the Alteneo de Musica y Danza de Malaga. I formed my own jazz group, Tune Up, and later brought out a solo album “Play guitar” as well as playing on group albums and numerous TV programs.

Jose Antonio Conde

I started playing the guitar at a very young age but soon swapped to electric bass playing mainly Jazz-Rock and Jazz-Fusion. At 17 I went on to study at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Malaga before moving on to the Taller de Musicos de Madrid where I studied with Ricardo Ferrer, one of the greats of Spanish jazz and where my interest in jazz really took off. I’ve enjoyed playing different styles of music such as tango (with Tango al Sur), classical flamenco (with the Simon el Rubio company), blues (with Richard Ray Farrel) hip-hop (with Fulano), Cuban (with Daniel Amat) and recently I accompanied Aurora Girado at the release of her new record in Malaga and Madrid.
